awesome article! I would love to have people that I work for/with or even some members of my family have a chance at this, since I know most of them think it's all in my head, eventhough they are supportive, I think it would be a taste of what some of my days are like... :o(

Granted not dx'd yet, but hopefully getting closer to something. T-spine and c-spine ordered for next week....

Man, I wish I could get one of these for the stupid neighborhood association guy who keeps harassing me to be the emergency preparedness team captain for our block. I'm trying to tell him that if there is an earthquake and people need help, I'm the last one you want coming in to help ya! Doi. But he's seen me mowing my lawn so I guess I'm fit to rescue people from crumbled buildings :)

I am guessing most of us know a few people we would like to throw in this thing for a bit, lol. I certainly have my list!

Denda, I really hope you get some answers from those MRIs! I have another c-spine MRI coming up here too, so I’ll keep you in mind while I’m stuffed in that tube with all that clanging, banging, beeping, and thumping going on…and on….and on…..

Thanks Rhonda & Sunny!
Me too! I'm getting really frustrated and I haven't been on this limboland boat half as long as most people. I actually had 3 great days this weekend (Sat, Sun & Mon), was feeling like my old self, did a TON of yard work and BAM! Yesterday it hit me, tremors, legs going weak underneath me, dizziness, tingling everywhere, eyeball jumping again, numbness, FATIGUE.... ARGH!! I can't get like I was back in December, barely able to get out of bed and so many STUPID symptoms going on barely able to function... I've got an open house to prepare for, for my son in 3 weeks... wishing I would have just rented a hall and didn't insist on having it at our house. I'll learn! :o(

The MS spec office took 9 vials of blood out of me last week and I still haven't heard from them. I didn't even know what the tests were they were running on the blood. The guy taking the blood made a comment that that was the most blood that he has had to draw from someone in about a year... "You must really have something going on..." If he only knew! MRI's are on the 22nd. I'll be thinking about you too Sunny! Make sure and let me know how everything goes...

Denda,

Gosh, it seems forever ago I was in the same place you are...no answers, frustrated as crap and tests tests tests. But it wasn't even 6 months ago. How long have you been going through all of this?

Hey there Nikki -

Symptoms for the last 2 years, but I didn't start investigating what was going on until they started getting progressively worse late last summer. Saw pcp in Sept 2006 (bunch of blood work and heart tests), Neuro in Oct 2006(bunch of blood work, 2 spinals, 2 brain MRI's, 1 EEG) and this MS specialist (MORE blood work and 2 scheduled MRI's) now just last week. So about 8 months. I'm just thankful that it seems that the dr's know something's wrong and really haven't stopped looking for things OTHER than MS. The MS specialist told me last week that if I have just one lesion in either of the mri's next week, he'll start going down the MS 'path' and can possibly dx me, but if no lesions show up, he can't and I'm still in limboland just waiting for me to lose the loss of something to be able to 'check off' the major exacerbation needed for a dx with what I have already... I'm still hoping I'll hear back from the blood work and they will say "Hey, we found what it is... here's a week's worth of pills, take 'em and you'll be back to your normal self".

Wishful thinking, I think! ;o)
