Hi everyone, I need help again, or still whichever you look at it.  Since I first joined the board, and got treated with solumedrol for a blad flare, I haven't been without some type of pain or symptom.  Called the neuro Friday to get something for pain, I am taking 20mg baclofen at bedtime and still having awful pains up my spine, muscle spasms, balance and cognitive problems.  She is sending me for an MRI on Monday.
Today I started something new, and I haven't seen this on the board in the short time I've been here.  My teeth hurt.  Drinking cold causes pain like from a sensitivity, biting hurts like my jaw has been clenched for too long.  I may be grinding my teeth, other than my health problems, I am going through a nasty divorce and trying to sell the house to move on, but I'm not sure if I am doing that in my sleep.
Can anyone shed some light?  Is this a dental problem or an MS problem I haven't had?
thanks for always being here for me.

You could be grinding your teeth. I'd probably start with that -- a trip to the dentist can confirm it, or see if there is some other dental problem going on.
...I am not a doctor, nor health professional, and don't pretend to be one, here.....

Hi Debbie,
I see you are going through a stressful time. I know what that is like and I had a very sad divorce. I waited til the children all finished high school and then I made my unhappiness known. He was the love of my life and we were married for over 30 years, but he couldn't deal with my illness so it was better to let him go. Through that divorce time I had all sorts of teeth problems due to stress and the stress caused me to grind my teeth, so I got a teeth guard, not pretty but it did help when I was sleeping. Uppitycats is right... you should check with your dentist. Also, I have trigeminal pain which can disguise itself as teeth pain. There is also TMJ, (Temporo-Mandibular Joint Disorder )which is also painful. They are beginning to understand that it is not always the classic pain symptoms described in many sites and by many doctors. Check back with your neuro and your dentist to see if either could be a possibility. Good luck Debbie and I hope you get the house sold soon. Divorce is like mourning a death... good luck and hope you start to feel less stress as time goes on. Dale
