I just had to share these links with all of you! They are about "Laughter Yoga", a real health practice that is becoming increasingly popular in India. They say that laughter is the best medicine, so watch these videos! If doing this doesn't melt the stress away, I don't know what will! I hope you all get a good laugh out of it, because it sure gave me the giggles!

In all seriousness, though, I really think there is probably something to this. I think of the release and rejuvenation I feel after a good laugh, why not bring that into our lives every day! Even if you're not interested in practicing Laughter Yoga, the videos are still a riot!

Enjoy! (scroll down to check out John Cleese visiting a Laughter Yoga practice)

Hey Niki

ABSOLUTELY!!!!!! Laughter is the best medicine!!! It's hard to find things to laugh about when u'r chronically ill or otherwise dealing with pain or unknowns, but there is something about laughter...some release we get. I have been totally blessed in my life...laughter has been a big part of who i am. I've also been blessed to my very core by the arrival of a precious friend who makes me laugh daily and lifts me each time. Take time to enjoy laughter and the special friends who bring it into u'r life. THANKS Niki...this is going to be a great thread!

Hey Niki,

What are you thinking!!! Laughter is a very dangerous thing. We sick people should be careful and not overdo it. We need to rest and wallow in our symptoms. Your thinking is outragious and irresponsible. Do you really want to be accountable for sick people having fun?? Is that really how you want people to think of you? Shame on you for trying to spread good cheer.

Seriously, thanks for a great thread. I too live to laugh and live to love. I have found tremendous benefit from the laughter and the friendships I have gained from HW. I feel enormously blessed.

Love and prayers,
