Hi everyone,
I had something new happen last night and am looking to you for some insight.  My right leg became very heavy and sort of numb, but the new part if that when I went to bed and put up my legs the right thigh looked swollen.  My daughter thought so also, so she measured it to be 1 1/2 inches bigger than the left.  Because I have fibro and MS, I don't know if I should call my PCP, neuro, or just wait it out.  I do have an appt with the neuro on Monday.
Any help would be appreciated.

Swollen limbs -- especially just one not a symptom of MS. You might want to talk to your pcp and see if you have something called deep vein thrombosis, a circulatory problem, which can occur in the thigh (and leg)

Hi Debbie,
Is it possible you could have strained that muscle somehow?  Aside from a circulatory problem that is also a possibility.  Can you call your PCP and see what they think?  I hope it gets better for you, please let us know.

Hey Debbie

Wow! I don't have anything to add to what Kimber and Uppity have already said except that both possibilities sound reasonable and this should be brought to a doc's attention! I hope u start to feel better and find the reason for this soon! Please let us know how u'r doing.
