went to neuro in philly (jefferson hospital). not sure what i make of it all. first he asked all kinds of questions to rule out add (lose track of what i'm doing) and restless leg (pins & needles). so i'm left w/ms. he termed what's going on with me is a mini-exasperation... have had pins & needles before and peeling off of skin feeling.

also said i seem more depressed, not myself. probably because i don't feel well.

so neuro upped my wellbutrin and also gave me script for generic lioresal (baclofen). unfortunately didn't quite make any decision on physical therapy. i'm to call him in 2 weeks.

just feeling very overwhelmed w/feeling worse. avoiding socializing if possible (i know that's the worst thing i can do). just kind of hiding out. afraid of falling too. hope new meds help ms stuff.

Hey Linda

Wow...a pretty big visit, huh? U"r right friend, don't hide out. Keep u'rself open to at least u'r world..u'r friends and family. U'll need them later...and more now than u realize. If u don't see any improvement in u'r feelings of depression...CALL HIM. Let him know that and be as proactive as u can be. I found myself feeling pretty depressed not so long ago and i reached out to the sweet people here...they rescued me and got me to my feet. I called and got help with my meds and so quickly got better. My point is don't wait and don't sit on it...reach out and take care of u'rself. As for the pt...please do the if u need to address this sooner than the next two weeks. It's so much about the squeaky wheel...u have to be u'r own voice. As for being alone my friend...we're all here for u. I will be so happy to be here for u all u need and want. Take such good care of u'rself and please let us know how u'r doing with this.

Dear linda
Ah dear one I wish things were going better for you. As rhonda says don't keep yourself isolated. Talk to people....visit us often. I find that when I'm not feeling well, I tend to stay away from the forum....just don't have enough energy to read or type....but the minute I feel the teeniest bit better...I'm in here checking in with you wonderful people. You do really keep me going. For someone without disease to tell you hang in there everything will be fine one thing....but I tend to believe it more coming from someone who has been through the mill and back and lives to talk about it ...and give others their support to get through their journeys. There is strength in that...I feel it ! The strength of character, the sense of humor, the is all here in this forum. write to us often.
