Probiotics?How many of you take them?

VIEW IMAGEHow many of you believe in probiotics? I need to learn more about them. For those of you who are currently taking them....do they help? Exactly how do they work? I know this topic has been adressed before but I wasn't interested in taking them at that time.....now I wonder. Should I?

Not me. But I'm the strict traditionalist around here (and elsewhere).  As flawed as the FDA can be -- if it isn't proven, if there haven't been proper scientific double-blinded placebo testing done, I'm not about to put it in my body.
 
Just a caution: if you do go this route, be sure to tell any of your doctors what you're doing, just in case there is anything conflicting with this and your other medical routines, regimens, medicines, etc.  This is a general caution -- there may well not be a problem at all, but it's better to err on the side of caution. At least I think so.

i use probiotics when i have to take antibiotics and they definitly help-- it is just a supplement-- they help to replace the good bacteria in your stomach which can be killed off when taking anti-biotics--
