Hi Pokey,

Welcome aboard.  Wow, you are an inspiration!  You have been fighting this disease for a long time.  Thanks for being here and I look forward to you sharing your experiences and expertise.  I have only been diagnosed for a little over a year.  It sounds like you are doing well from your other post.

Love and prayers,

I try to get by and you are so right laughter is the best medicine..When I boubnce off of something like a human pinball i have 1 of 2 options laugh or cry...I usuallylaugh but----there were plenty of tears too.But I find as long as you can get back up and go.....sometimes that is hard when the body "freezes up" on you. And my latest sympton are the ms tremors i am taking myscoline for them but it is very difficult to write and sometimes eat.I drink out of a straw makes it easier.funny thing is I only have 3 lesions but i guess they are in main areas cause i do not have good balance.I am no expert by any means but if there is something I can answer I will try. This is a pretty neat place I am glad I found it...pokey79thank you Gretchen1

Hi Pokey,

It's nice to meet you.  Isn't the lesion thing crazy?  Some have a few and a lot of problems and others have tons and few problems.  I hadn't thought of using a straw, that's an excellent suggestion.  Does the myscoline work well for you?  Keep posting, we all look forward to getting to know you better.

Kimber, Nice to meet you too.The myscoline made things a little better but i still have the tremors .The straws really come in handy..much better than a siippycup. But then again you have to do someyhing cause you have to eat and drink if you tremor straws are the answer.Just wait til the coffee cools down.pokey79
