Thank you friends.
I have a consult on what we're doing Wednesday morning. The drive tires me out. I live in Mt.Vernon IL..my neuro is in Herrin IL in case no one knows..it's about 60 miles ssw of where I live. But,she's good.
I did also find an atty..he is in the next county south. His last malpractice case he won, his recept..said it wasn't as bad as mine, and he got 2 mil..I hope..
hugs to you all.

Stopped taking Nortriptyline, which is sad, cause it worked. I could sleep. It put 24 pounds of fluid on me in 19 days. But with water pills and terminating the pill, I have lost 17 in 5 days.

I will also tell you guys what helps besides talking to you all..my music. I am in the choir at my church, and I write songs, but I can't write music or play anything, except harmonica. I listen to anything from Rock, Hard Rock,Old Jazz,Opera,Classical,Celtic Music,(Just wrote maybe my best song for any genre in this one)Americana(Roots music)Bluegrass Country Gospel..you name it..all except rap or hip hop..imho..that ain't music.

Good luck with the lawsuit. It's really hard to find a doctor guilty of malpractice just because he missed a diagnosis of something elusive like MS. I hope you don't get too far in debt with attorney's fees and then find that either you don't have a solid enough case, or lose!
...I am not a doctor, nor health professional, and don't pretend to be one, here.....

I am sorry to hear about your diagnosis. I would also second what uppitycat said regarding your lawsuit. Make sure you are careful and understand anything you are asked to sign. I also hope you did some research regarding your attorney. Sorry to sound so cynical but ... I also live in Illinois -- Cental. I have been through Mt. Vernon when I used to visit my sister when she was working on her graduate degree at SIU.
