Hi Karen,

Welcome to Healing Well.  I've never heard of the device before but it does look promising particularly for those that have problems with foot drop.  Good luck and I hope it helps you!

Hey Karen,

Welcome to HW.  Your thread prompted me to take a look.  It is a very interesting device!  Good luck with it and let us know how are doing with it.

Love and prayers,

Hey Karen!!

Welcome to the board!! I have to say i think i have heard of this product before...maybe one of our other members has mentioned it. It looks very promising and so exciting for those suffering from probs like drop foot. It does seem to be offering just what was taken to create the prob...stimulation...and the chance for the person wearing it to return to normal or near normal walking again!! Best wishes with this and please do let us know how it goes for u!!

Well everyone I had my first session with the Ness L300 and a physical therapist.  It went great.  This product actually retrains the brain where there are lesions to find a new route to help the walking.  They teach you to learn how to keep your balance better, your gait better, and they were going to give me an 800 number so everyone can find out where they can go to find out about this, but I forgot.  Going back for another session tomorrow so I'll get it then.  I tell you it does make you very tired though because your using muscles that haven't been used for a while. Keep you updated...Karen

Well everyone had my second physical therapy treatment today with the L300 Alicia my pt had me walk forward backward sideways and to the point where I almost fell over my balance is terrible she said and she was right there making sure I didnt fall she said the only way to train my muscles again was to almost fall so they can be taught how to help me keep my balance, but all and all I keep learning more everyday. My mother has been going with me and she says she can see the difference, but since I just started by night time my old walki ng is back (bummer) Anyways I told you I would get you the 800 umber The name of the company is Bioness 8002119136 right now I only go twice a week so I don't go back till Monday they said with MS it's too much on the muscles to start with more than that we all know aboit that.
I've been diagnosed with MS for two years started out on copaxone for two years but I continued to get lesions so doctor switched me to rebiff Ive been on it now for a month.  My husband Mark is great with me he stretches my legs every night and we go for walks everyday he knows when I'm tired and tells me to go as far as I can.
