We were without power today from 4 am until 12:30. Can't flush toilets, so that was interesting with my new bag. Thank you zip-lock bags..but it wasn't easy! Quite the balancing act with candle light trying to empty my bag without it getting all over the bathroom! about the time I get used to this bag business...I will be going in for the reversal.

Oh my. But, hey, we baggers have it esier than those "Colon having folks". HA HA. If they had to go, it'd be bad. :)
I haven't had to empty by candleight yet. Not looking forward to that.

Hehe--I've done that a few times--emptying by candlelight and into ziploc bags, too! Neither is all that bad. I'll take that over a leak any day!!

I've changed by candlelight before - can't say it's the most romantic thing I've ever done but it certainly is an interesting experience!
I have had an ileostomy for 32 years now due to UC.
