Going on vacation and going to be spending the week, more or less in the pool.  Any suggestions on how to make my bag last longer or stay on better?

I recommend the Coloplast Assura Extended Wear wafer, because it holds up great!! I spent a long weekend last summer at a water park and never had to change my wafer once. I use it all the time now and get 7 days use out of it, and that's with taking daily showers.

Hope you have a fun vacation!! :-)

I agree wih Cecilia, I wear the Coloplast Extended wear as well and it holds up great for me too, daily showers, sometimes long baths. The key for me to tell if I need a change is more the wearing off of the paste, it wears off faster the thinner the output is.

Have a great vacation, I am so jealous! scool

I swim all the time. My wafer is not happy long durations in the water. I just know to bring extra supplies while I am on vacation. I went on a cruise when I was 3 weeks post. I swam every day and had to change my wafer every 2 days or so. No problem, I just brought extra.

Have a great time!

Don't know if you are on vacation already? I found the Sure Seal Rings by Active Lifestyles Products worked best for water and sweat!!! I walked a 1/2 Marathon with these and trained for 6 months in Hot Humid Houston and they work! They go over the flange with a very thin skin friendly film. You can actually see a leak starting from the edge of your flange before you get a mess. They even work in hot tubs and saunas! It has extended the time of my changes. They come in 2 sizes...one smaller and round and a larger square one I use....like the coverage it gives. If you go to this boring website in their company transistion....they will send you samples if you call and leave your name. Some supply stores have them in Houston so you can call around if you want them faster. I get mine from Edgepark now. Their one page site is: http://www.alpglobal.com/
Good luck....Laura Beth
