Hi Everyone:

I just watched the Kid's Choice Awards with my niece. Wouldn't it be a great idea if we had an award for ostomates. I'm just going to randomly create a category and make a nomination. I invite everyone to make their own category and nominate their favorite.

"For the greatest source of medical and technical information, I nominate Shaz!"

Funniest post:

Cece's famous prayer:

Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my flange won't leak.

If I have gas before I wake, I pray the Lord my bag won't break!!

Maybe we could fashion a "crown" out of an over-sized wafer? I think Summer has experience in applying ostomy products to the head.

I nominate every single one of you for the Courage Award, because it takes a lot of guts to allow a surgeon to remove them!

For the "If anyone deserved to have our medical challenges" I nominate the judge at my disabilty hearing!!!! for being unjust and unfair and ignoring the evidence. It took a long time but her denial was just overturned by the court of appeals.
