Has anyone here ever had problems with an anal fissure? I've had trouble with one in the past probably due to the divirticulitis . I have had my ileostomy reversal and things were going great, but once everything seemed to go back to normal, there is the fissure again..it is soooo painful and there is some bleeding. Stool softeners work somewhat but it is so hard to get rid of. It seems like it's always something....

Don't forget to tell your doctor they're back, and I hope you get some relief soon.

im sorry donut, i have a few fissures and fistulas, the fissures never gave me too much of a problem, but when i did have problems, a sitz bath in epsom salt helped alot, some prep h sometimes. If u go on the crohns board there are lots of suggestions as theyr very common with us. Hope u find relief soon!
