LOL.

Just to prove life is not over with a "bag". Guess what I did?

I took Boudoir pictures!!! Hee, Hee. They are tasteful and pretty, and made me feel good about myself again, even with the bag. I'll find one to post to the photo album - don't worry they aren't too risque. Which is why I am sharing this. I am not a skinny supermodel, I have curves thanks to years of steroids, and I have a bag of poop attached to me, but I can still flaunt it!! I so often see posts from people worried about their bodies after ostomies. I really just want to let all of you know that you're all beautiful, and to please know that a bag, or few extra pounds, or a few too little pounds are not enough to change that.

So to all you women out there, life does not end with an Ostomy - you are all still sexy ladies!

(Oh men, too - you guys are still hawt, too!)

So that's my soap box for the day. Love yourselves! tongue

Wowie! I am proud of you. I had some done BEFORE surgery and last time I saw them I cried! Maybe it's time to have them redone - huh? Way to go and thanks ...

Ok, I haven't been brave enough to post a pic yet. It's just cleavage, I'm completely covered, but still. I wanted to show that you can do this even with a bag, but what if someone doesn't read my post, and thinks I'm completely insane? LOL.

I cant believe you did that!! WAY to GO! I only hope that I can have the same courage that you have shown! I am just three weeks with my new addition and at this time it seems too soon for me to take pics of myself. I will say that since my surgery..just 3 wks..I have lost eight lbs. I am just a little over weight and welcomed the weight loss. I too had gained several lbs over the last eight years due to steroids. I weaned off the steroids and starting walking last summer through the winter months which helped me to lose nite about 7 lbs..so now I am 15 lbs thinner than last summer..woohoo.. I have about six more lbs to go. But right now..i do feel so much better just for losing the 8 lbs since surgery. Anyway..back to you..I say go for it and post the pics!! You are awesome!!

Wow, that is great bravely posting those pictures. I will have to loose some before I go that far! Last time I did pictures like that I was 40, now 57 and getting back to shape with spinning classes and long country bike rides at least 35 miles!
