ok so my colonscopy is tomorrow at 8:45, i have an ileo, and the letter the hospital sent me just states to use to fleet enemas the night b4 and one in the am(which is already freaking me out, i'm already procrastinating).  But what about eating, i know i cant eat after midnight, but what about during the day today? i know with an endoscopy i cant...but does n e body know the "standard" procedure for a colonsocopy with an ileostomy?

Praying,
You do not have to do the Fleet enema. All you have to do is not eat or drink anything after midnight, and you'll be cleaned out.
Good luck tomorrow!

Ileostomates should not have to do an enema for any testing.  Clear liquids do the trick.
