i have posted about foods on here, but my question is more of this nature now.
i am 9 days post op and i had a subtotal colectomy (10 inches left) and i am still eating baby type foods and i am sick sick sick of it. BUT i am also worried about if i do start eating can i get a blockage like others have said. or is this more with the ones who have a ileo??
I really am afarid to eat anything more then next to liquids because i dont want to go back in to the hospital at all...........that was awful................... so awful. and i need some advice.... and the ones with some colon left and no ileo do they have problems all along with watching what they eat so they dont get blocked

You may want to post this question on a couple of the other boards - maybe Ulcerative Colitis or Crohn's Disease, since most of us here have our ostomies. You may get more responses.
