Hey everyone.  I went to the gastro doctor today and I asked him what to expect after I get my reversal surgery in about 4 weeks.  He said I might get something called dumping syndrome.  Yea that sounds like fun.  He said that when the surgeon took out my ileum he also removed a valve which controls how fast you have to go to the bathroom.  Pretty much he was saying that I'll have to go to the bathroom pretty much right away.  That sounds like it sucks.  Anyone ever hear of this or have this after their reversal surgery?  Thanks.

shocked  Bella when you first have the reversal you do feel alot like this little emoticon guy. It dos get better after a few weeks (4 or 5) most of the time. I still have days that are real bad and have to stay very close to the bathroom. But I dont know if its the same for everyone because I am on a very strong antibiotic and I have to take potassium and it makes me sick also. Good luck with your surgery. You will love not having a bag.
