I guess I should have asked about this as well - anyone have any problems w/ adhesions? Is that pretty standard w/ the crohns? When you had your colectomes/resections were there also adhesions? I am being told my surgery will be quite extensive because of all three.

I had some issues with adhesions from having several resections.  My surgeon was alsways pretty amazed at just how many he had to stirp to get to the area he was doing surgery on.  I have had a few partial blockages and some pretty painful ones at thiat, and after testing, etc., only thing it can be is internal adhesions.

I'd be glad to answer any questions that I can....

I don't want to sound like a commercial or something, but there is an enzyme called Serrapeptase (found it cheapest and good potency on (and you can get $5.00 off your first order on this site by using code POP610) - brand I used is called Doctor's Best, but probably any brand that's high potency might work) that is known to digest adhesions! I know it sounds impossible, but I have read some really good info about it online. I took it for fibroids on my ovaries and, I'm not kidding, it got rid of them!! The proof was in the fact that my pain went away and it was confirmed they were gone on ultrasound! Anyway, just wanted to pass this on b/c it's an amazing supplement. It's supposed to help with adhesions, scar tissues, fibroids, cysts, etc...  I hope this helps. :-)
