I decided to do a little surfing to find cheaper ostomy supplies. By my math, this place will save me about $500 a year compared to what I am currently spending with Edgepark.
Check it out!!!

Thanks, vette guy! That's great to know! Ebay is another place to find good deals on ostomy supplies.

Bummer...I checked it out - no Coloplast Pouches. I use Coloplast Sensura One Piece.

Vette Guy - do you have insurance that covers your supplies or part of it? My 2009 Blue Cross/Blue Shield plan will cover all but 10%. This will be new for me because it's always been covered at 100%. My 10% will be based on the insurance cost, so I'm sure I'll be ok.

Unfortunately our current insurance doesn't cover ostomy supplies. But, the place that I noted in my post sells the same appliances for 25% less and the paste I use for 50% less than I currently spend with Edgepark. Who knows...maybe their customer service is better too. Edgepark's customer service has gotten pretty rotten in the last few years, IMHO.

For anyone interested:

We have over 30 boxes of
Convatec Sur-Fit Natura Stomahesive Wafers

These are tan/beige in color.

Wafers measure 1 1/4 inches and 1 3/4 flange.

All are new in the box (10 per box)

We did a couple of ebay auctions but knowing some of you here could use them thought we'd try here before doing Ebay again.

We're not looking to get rich but would like to sell them and get rid of them.

Anyone interested, please email me or reply here with your questions or offers and we can work something out.

Thanks, Sandi

Have you considered donating them? I donated a ton of ostomy supplies years ago when I decided to switch to a different size.

Hmmmm...I just called to order supplies with them and I got a recording on an answering machine from a guy with a thick Indian accent.
I'm not passing judgement on the Indian accent. But, an answering machine??? What do you think about this?

Interesting, I just noticed you can't quote yourself on this forum. Anyway, I just ordered from them. I left them a message, and they called me back within an hour. But, more important, the order came out to about 40% less than I was spending at Edgepark. Plus, I will receive my items tomorrow(BIG PLUS). I'll let you all know if there's an error. But, at this point, I am very glad I found their web site.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I received my supplies the next day from this new place, and saved about 40% compared to what I was spending(for almost 20 years) with Edgepark. They now have a new customer for life! If you live in the USA you should give them a try!

The appliance I use wasn't on their web site either, but they were still able to get them. You should still call them.
