I get a b-12 shot once a month and have never noticed any adverse side effects. Sorry.

I had one two years ago and had out of the blue, and uncontrollable D. After several weeks it passed. I had been eating all of the foods that agree with my GI tract and was stumped as to why I had D. I would have it hit me as if I had just consumed the contrast for a cat scan (they clean me out) or the bowel prep for a procedure.

Later, I determined the only difference was I had a B 12 shot, hoping it would give me energy and I'd feel great again - almost normal.

And all it did was complicate things!

I was just glad when it left my system.

B-12 is supposed to give you energy. I have never heard of that.
