I had surgery #4 on Friday, this time to remove my gallbladder. Luckily, they were able to do it laproscopically, so I am was sent home the same day as the surgery. This was my first laproscopic surgery, all the others were
open. My surgeon sent me home with vicodin, but it isn't doing much to dull the pain. I can barely sit up straight, with all of the pain under my ribs. It hurts worse than my
open surgeries! I am thinking that maybe this is because I just had the surgery a day and a half ago, and usually, with
open surgery, I am in the hospital on the "good" stuff at this point. So I'm crossing my fingers that maybe this will get better sooner rather than later? Has anyone else had gallbladder surgery lapro? How long did it take for the extreme pain to ease up?
If at first you do not succeed, then skydiving is surely not meant for you.
