Really glad to find this chat board. I am 8 yrs into having a colostomy...result of uterine cancer. I have not met anyone to talk with who has an ostomy like I do from the result of female cancer. The tumor in the uterus grew outside and attached to the bowel. I have adjusted fine to my ostomy...glad to be breathing. Anyone out there with similar story?

Welcome, Betty Poop! (great name, by the way!)
I didn't have cancer either, but there are several people here who did. I'm glad you found us and are healthy, too! :-)
Dx'd Crohn's in '99 at 28. Proctocolectomy and ileostomy in '06.
Disease-free, medicine-free, and very thankful to be healthy again.
