Anyone using these flanges? I ordered a box to try (ileostomy) to end wear time. The first one fell off overnight. NOT fun. And didn't make this product a hit with me! Tried it without skin prep (usually don't use it with the stomahesive) and it stuck ... maybe too well. I lost a bit of skin taking it off. I figured out with the help of the convatec help line that a convex insert might help with any flange (the stomahesive flanges used to be a fraction thicker and stiffer, which she said might have helped keep them on. I'd had less wear time over the last year).

Any way - thoughts? Hints? Bright ideas? I'm concerned about trying them again (since I'm never home!), but also hate to not try if I should. And have seven or eight of the things left and paid for!

Thanks all!

I used them for more than 8 years, but have been using Hollister's New Image for the last year...so I cannot help you for the current performance, but I had issues with their mouldable flanges not having enough strength (I use convexity).  I always used an Eakin Seal and never had a problem with it falling off...good luck!
