I wanted to share the good new with my fellow ostomates. I retired last year at age 47, thinking I would be happy. Boy was I wrong. I'm just not cut out for retirement yet. I don't play golf, even though I live on a gold course. And, what's the point of having a couple of Corvettes when you have no place to go. My wife and all our friends still work, so things were getting quite dull.
After several phone interviews, they flew me out to California where I had 9(that's right....9!) interviews with various vice presidents, department heads, and the CEO of a well known software company. I'm happy to say that, starting in 2 weeks, I will be their National Director of Sales. I'm siked!!!
Though I wanted to share the great news with you, I also wanted to make a point to all the ostomy newbies out there. And that is.....
After your ostomy surgery, the limitations you place on yourself are only in your mind. You can do anything you decide you want to do after your ostomy surgery!!!
