Prior to my surgery I was miserable, scared, exhausted and in a constant state of crisis.  After my surgery I was still scared and exhausted, but the crisis was eased because of you.  You answered my questions, gave me wonderful votes of confidence and words of wisdom.
I have not felt this good, this amazing, or this much alive since before my UC first made itself known.  For the first time in two years I am living life and not looking back.
My family and I are currently coping with the loss of my grandma.  She was 87 and her body just could not continue any longer.  In addition to this, I am now back to work and helping families in crisis, so this taking much of my time.
I am writing this because I simply do not have the time to be an active member of this forum for the time being.  I just wanted you all to know how special you have been to me and my family.  Information and stories I have learned from you, I sometimes share with my family so they can better understand my situation.
Please know that I would not have been as strong or gung-ho about the surgery or recovery if it were not for your support and guidance.
I thank you with all my heart, as does my husband, son and family.  Just you being here has helped me more than you will ever know.
You are always in my thoughts, and I hope to have a day here or there that allows me the time to read and I would love to pay it forward!!!

New on here but have been following your story for a while Robin and it has really helped me through this journey prior to my surgery. All the best to you and your family. x
