So, I was having a LOT of trouble with the wafer staying on me and not lifting up near my belly button. I switched from Convatec to the Hollister New Image brand and voila!!! This thing STICKS! Also I switched from the paste to the Eakin seal and BAM it is SO easy to change the bag now ...

I mean ... when the stoma decides it wants to just run and run and run and run and there is no end is sight .. forget it !!!! You're gonna need 2 sets of hands. But if you wait about 2 hour after you last ate ... should be a piece of cake.

Also, another note ... I now put the wafer on like a diamond on my belly ... not a square. Don't know if it makes sense but it misses the belly button completely .... Everyone is different tho ...

I go in for my bloodwork and the pouch-o-gram this coming Friday .. fingers crossed.

Thanks for the advice!!!!

putting the wafer on in a diff position often helps, its also good to change the postion every once in a while.
So glad you got it worked out!
