I plan on going to a water park on Thurs.
I will be taking my daughter. She is 18 months old, so it's not like I'll be swimming laps. We'll probably stay mostly in the baby area. But also go to the wave pool and the lazy river thing, So in the water a lot.
We are gong with my friend and her kids. She knows about my stuff, so no problem there.

I'm so excited smilewinkgrin and nervous.
I'll post after and tell everyone how it went and how my appliances held up.

But right now the weather is crappy (it's only 64 degrees and stormy) here in KC, MO. I mean, come on! it's JUNE for goodness sakes! I hate cold weather. So, we may not get to go, if it's still rainy.
*fingers crossed* smurf

Just for fun, I checked your weather forecast at weather.com, and it says Thursday will be a high of 75 with only a 30% chance of showers. So, hopefully, it's a go!

That's better than what the morning news said!
They said 73 with a chance of showers.
I think anything below 75 will be too cold to take my baby swimming.
So, I hope that's right Cecilia. But......even the meteorologists have a hard time predicting.

kids dont care how cold the water is! they just wanna be in it, lol.

And dont worry about the rain, you are gonna be wet anyway.

I will never forget, when my sister was about 4 we were swimming and it started raining and she jumped out of the pool and got her towel and my dad said "whats wrong" and she says, "dad it's raining i dont wanna get wet!"
We laughed sooo hard!

Anyway, have a super fun time!

Good point Summer... I guess as long as it is not storming or too windy, who cares, right?  I would bet that there wouldn't be a lot of people at a water park or pool on that kind of day!

I think Older kids don't care about the water temp., but she's 18 months old, and won't remember swimming from last year. It doesn't take much to upset her lately (fit phase) and I don't want the first time to really turn her off to the water.

We went to Worlds of Fun last weekend and spent the time in the little kid area with rides for babies, she Hated it! She didn't want to ride anything! We were disappointed.

And it's been stormy lately with some severe..........

Don't want to be in the water with lightening.

Now the weather man says stormy all day sad

I think the day will be canceled.

Chassity,
Sorry your day was cancelled. Maybe you should move down to Florida with me and you could do water parks all year long!!!!

Hope you get to reschedule soon!!

I'd love to move to Florida!! But, my husband likes winter (whatever) so, we'll probably always live in KC-both cold winter and hot summer.

The day was cancelled. sad

It was spotty showers and only 70 by 11:00.

Oh well, I'll try next week. I plan on getting a season pass, so things better work out!
