don't feel so bad, tinkerbell, just think of it, you won't see these guys again. anyway, that's their job and they are only looking for one thing - to diagnose if there're probs or not and their goal is to help you, not othewise, right?
well, i also had this test twice. they were done in different places, but both places did it the same way. about
half hr-hr prior i had to drink that nasty barium shake and then they inserted more barium into my rectum, then i was told to sit on a toilet like thing and to push as like having a bm and it's being x rayed, so they can see all the angles and if there're any abnomalities. that's it. is it similar to your last test?
if you're still not sure about
the test, maybe you should talk to your gi about
it. maybe he can do you the u.s of the pelivc instead, which is much easier, since you don't have to deal with no barium with that one and it can help give the same answers as the defogram. try and see what he thinks of it.
