Hi everyone!
I just wanted to pop my head in and let everyone know I had my meeting with the ostomie nurse. She marked the spot for Oscar (yes, i've named my ostomie) after much manouvering and clothing changes. I've already taken a picture of the X that marks the spot and have sent it to everyone in my cell phone.  I had my blood work done as well and unless something weird happens, I'll be in surgery on the morning of Monday, Nov.23!!! YAY!!!!

Best of luck to you on the 23rd! I was also sooooo happy when I was being wheeled on the stretcher into the operating room for my surgery. I am 4 1/2 weeks post op and still not fully recovered though. Make sure you take it easy after surgery and take help from whoever offers!!!

Hope it all goes well Allison. I am 8 months post op and don't regret having the surgery. It has improved my quality of life thats for sure. I really hope you have a speedy recovery, you sure have the best attitude and that goes a long way for your recovery too. Take care and keep us posted
