It must have just been hormones. I feel better now. I was premenstrual, but it's never been that bad (that I can recall)
Thank you all for the support. You're the best.
Guess what I did.
I'm such a dope.
I've been having a cough that I can't get rid of since Sept. I had a cold, then the cough came. An intemittant productive cough. My allergy/asthma Dr. said it was my asthma, but I didn't believe him b/c why would it pop up suddenly after my cold. I've never ever had bad asthma-only mild-allergy induced.
He put me on an inhalant steroid and I felt better. So, I stopped. The cough came back. Then he wanted to put me on prednisone. NO WAY I said. I'll use the inhaler again.
Then I went to get a second opinion from my family Dr. After x-rays, She agreed with him and talked me into trying prednisone for it. On a fast taper. I started Sat. on 50 mg (ugh) and was supposed to taper down 10 mg every 2 days. Well yesterday, I was supposed to take 40 mg, but I accidentally took 2 times the dose. I took 80 mg! I am such an idiot! I thought the tabs were 10mg, but they were 20mg. Needless to say, I didn't sleep a wink last night, feel great and energized today, and still buzzing.
You'd think i've never been on prednisone b4 (I was on it for 4 years strait).
And I'm still coughing.
