When I still had UC my cholesterol was always low, and NOT from my diet. Ate all the bad stuff in large quantities. My Ent said that people with colitis always have low cholesterol. Anybody ever been told this? Was your cholesterol low when you had colitis? Don't know how it is since I "took the cure 2 1/2 years ago.
Any input........

No mine was high. i couldnt eat vegetables or fruits or any of the good for you stuff without getting really sick. i could eat cheese and french fries and bread, and for some reason pizza. Actually when i would i start a flare i could go get a pizza from little ceasers and it would help calm it down. Weird, i know.
And i felt so bad i couldnt get up and exercise i was sooo tired and of course the steroids made me gain weight.

I've either never had my cholesterol tested or never been told what the results were if I was. I would think I have been at some point with all the blood work I have had done, but who knows
