My first week home after the big  19 day hospital adventure! I walked to the end of the block this morning and back...Big trip! I could not help but think last fall I walked 9 miles in one day with my bow and a full pack and deer hunted in between! I have alot of ground to gain back! I am feeling much better and eating well. I gained back a few pounds. The human body is an amazing thing! Before I know it I will be able to get back in the kayak and give the fish some lessons. I am blessed to have a huge support group of family and friends.

Fish1, I am happy that you're doing so well.  You will grow stronger each passing day.  Keep walking and it will help with gaining your strength back and the awful gas.  Be sure and chew your food well, and if you get nauseous, ginger tea and ginger cookies help lots!
