Trixie12~Please remember that people's experiences with procedures are different and a lot of people post to find answers...not scare you.
A reversal is usually the easiest to recover from. You will have a few days of adjustment and will need to follow a low residue diet for the time your doc recommends. Just remember that if you experience a lot of D you can use Imodium to slow things down and there are creams for your bottom if it gets sore (I hope I spell it right: Calmoseptine is one).
I was out of the house and traveling (by car) across the country a week after mine! Don't forget to take a robe and comfortable slippers so you can walk while in the hospital...walking will get things working so you can eat and get home to recouperate
Good Luck and let us know when your surgery is!
