Hi all!
I'm just wondering if green output is a bad thing. I'm still pretty new to this-- just over 7 weeks, so i don't know what is normal. I know high amounts of output at the beginning is normal, but I never heard anything about green.

Did you eat anything purple/blue? Some foods will change the color of output! Red Food Coloring makes output look like blood shocked

Jello, Gatorade, Capt'n Crunch Berries(my fav) or Blueberries?

I have blue pwerade (maybe 5 swallows) most days, but I don't know if that's enough to make green output like every day, for at least half the day.

It's probably just bile, totally normal.

Hi 80's,

The green is just likely bile. Ileos at first are so fast that you can be down to your own digestive juices in no time at all. This slows up after 6 or 9 months or a year.

bile or the gatorade
it doesnt take much to change it. Just the amount of cough syrup i take changes mine to red.
UC for 8 years, before finally kicking its butt and having a permanent ileostomy April 17 2007!
