So...I've been pretty fortunate to not have long term bootie pain since having my inner bootie removed.  In fact, I very rarely feel much of anything in that area anymore and it is so super sweet!

However.  Today while at a client's house I was sitting on a picnic bench at their dining table and it must have been the way I was sitting because holy hell that was serious pain!  I didn't even know I had pain receptors in that part of the tushy anymore!  I totally spaced out of the conversation and I tried to place the pain...but I couldn't!  All I know is that my body was throbbing and screaming in areas where organs used to be and it was the oddest feeling.

After I resituated and refocused the throbbing and intense pain went away...but that WAS NOT FUN!

On the flip side though, this does put give an entirely new meaning to a Bootie Call!!!!  Hahhahahahahhahah!!!!

My rectum is removed and my back door is sewn shut yet I sometimes get what I refer to as "phantom fistula pain" I had 2 regularly (13 years of regulalry) draining anal fistula's and always had pain. Now that everything is sewn up and gone, I get the occasional pain and start freaking out thinking it's a fistula returning from the grave! It's not returning and I think it's our bodies reminding us "hey, Allie.....remember this???" The pain never stays longer then 10-15 minutes, if it was longer I would get myself to a doctor!

OMG~Allie, I thought I was the only one who worried their nasty fistulas(5 w/setonsskull might return...I don't really get 'pain' down there but if I sit for a long time it feels like my butt fell asleep. It doesn't last long once I get up and move:)

RobinByrd...stay away from picnic benches shocked

LOL @ Ohio76....yup, I totally and completely freak out any time there is pain in my rear end. My husband just shakes his head while I run around like a 3 year old on caffeine thinking the fistula's are coming back. It's always nothing but after 13 years......lol.
