i am supposed to be going to for my reversal in a few weeks and went for my preop x-rays and stuff where they do the barium enema to check the pouch and stuff. My surgeon called me last night and said that they noticed a small leak near the sutures. It is only 5 or 6 weeks since my original surgery and was wondering if this is somewhat common? i am very positive about things and I hope that this is not that big of a deal. Obviously the surgeon is not going to do the surgery with the leak. Anyway, thanks. Hope you all have a great weekend.

It's not common but it's not unheard of either.

Hi,
My boyfriend recently had an ileostomy reverversal (he had severe UC)and he is having a heck of a time with 13 bathroom visits yesterday.
You sound as if you are doing fine now and I was wondering if you had any problems like this post surgery.
I am new to this board so please excuse if you have already answered this question.
Thanks
