Will be starting to work out tomorrow again in prep for my 2nd surgery. Have been going out often now. Going to my firehouse a lot to keep in touch with the brothers there and doing light duty work. They walked for me in Brooklyn yesterday for the Crohn's Colitis Walk. Great men. I have been eating everything, and I mean everything. I also have a temp ileo and they are a lot more feisty to deal with, but I manage very very well. The only thing that is keeping me down is my iron level and that was because of my UC before surgery but that will all be taken care of. Most importantly, I am enjoying life, enjoying my family, and not worrying about destroying my truck seat again ;) Life is good. Just thought I would attest to the positive aspects of the surgery (total colectomy) for those that might be 2nd-guessing. I will talk to you all later ... I have a giant bowl of fettucini alfredo with name written all over it ;)

Ciao ... stay well, all

- Anthony

Anthony,

Who is your surgeon? Would you recommend him? I saw that you kept in touch with him via email and I really thought that was fabulous. I'm out here in central NJ, but I'd like to keep his name in mind just in case. Thanks.
