I just ate one of those Dole peach parfait cups and although I tried to chew each piece throughly I think one slid down and now I am scared to death of a blockage. Any suggestions?

Just make sure you drink water. Although a piece of peach shouldn't cause a blockage. I accidentally swallowed a piece of strawberry without chewing it.

Also I ate some ice cream a while back that had nuts in it and I didn't chew those good. It is kinda bizarre to be checking the bag and feel a piece of peanut in there.

Christine, did everything come out okay? I have not been eating yogurt with fruit in it? Do you think I can eat that now?

I drank gallons of water yesterday and all is I had a blueberry muffin for breakfast, chewed well but still saw a mushed up blueberry in the bag.
Yes, Tracy it is ok to eat yogurt with fruit in it. I have been eating blueberry yogurt since I got home from the hospital. I walked 20 laps today already, from our daughter's living room (addition we put on last year) back to our family room...that was about 1/2 hour walk at a good clip. I feel stronger every day and I thank GOD that I had this operation.
Cannot believe that I only take two pills a day. My body feels soooo it is saying...thank you, thank you for not poisoning me anymore.

We are all so different.......I can eat almost anything as long as it is not stringy, like celery or snow peas or steamed cabbage. I grow snow peas in my garden and eat loads of them with no problem as long as i take the strings off the sides. I tried popcorn the first time since my ileo 2 1/2 years ago because everyone on this forum said that they do. Blowout first night. No more popcorn for me.

Always amazes me how fresh corn (on the cob) comes out the same as it goes in. How does it give any nourishment?

While I still have my colon I think you should be OK. Fruit has a lot of water in it so it won't be like passing a popcorn kernel :)
