Sounds like you are having a time of it girl! When my ostomy nurse came on Friday we put a one piece Hollister bag on. I still like the Coloplast better. My skin was a bit irritated, not much. She put paste on it and then applied the one piece. Before that, I had a two piece Coloplast bag on but we couldn't figure out how to reattach the bag to the So we took the whole thing off.
I really never looked to see if my stoma had one hole or two holes. I think it only has one, no mucus is coming out, just poo. It sticks out about half an inch too. The diameter is still about 1 1/4 inches, hasn't shrunk.
I still haven't gotten the order from Edgepark that my nurse called in last Wednesday! Good thing Hollister sent me some stuff for irritation. I am taking it to the shore with me. I will try to keep this bag on till we get home on Tuesday.
Oh, the nurse told me I could swish some water in the bag if the poop is sticking to the sides of great. Cleans it out nicely.

Mine is a loop and I can't tell if there is a second hole, however, there is a small sliver of the intestine that kinda wraps around the bottom right of the stoma. I'm assuming that is the loop part.
Oh well, I only have 4 more weeks until the takedown. Woo!
