Anyone else ever get this? Maybe because I haven't tapered down this far since before January but my face is a sight!!! Who ever heard of acne at age 63? I am thrilled at tapering and keeping my fingers crossed by the end of the week I will, hopefully, be able to get off this poison for the rest of my life.

I get acne from time to time on my chin, of all places - I'm 55. It looks out of place when it happens! So I can relate.......

FYI, Neutrogena makes a great acne cream, called On the Spot. Somewhat pricey but goes far. Very mild, but it works. And doesn't dry out your skin like acne topical creams do for younger people.

Also, my 23 year old has always struggled with acne. At one time she was on 3 daily meds for it, but I was never comfortable with her taking so many meds and neither was her Pediatrician (a Derm. originally prescribed all of the meds). Long story short, our insurance drastically changed, Rx co-pay went thru the roof (still are, $30 to $50 now), so we tried Proactiv. It works! I was skeptical but wanted her off the acne meds so we tried it. You find their kiosk's in malls. A starter kit is under $50 and last for weeks.

My mother is almost 60 and she still gets acne. I get it - not severe, but enough that a friend asked if I had herpes cause it was so bad one week. If I'm diligent about using my Neutrogena face wash (the one in the light blue bottle) I do great. I can do any of the "acid" ones.

Good luck.
