Makes me wonder too Anthony since my surgeon said the j-pouch would be too risky for me and I told him I had no problem wearing a bag.
I went to my pharmacy this morning and was speaking with the woman pharmacist and she said most likely this bleeding stems from the surgery. However, when she said that everything in there is exposed to the air during surgery I thought of our neighbor..gulp. He had cancer of the esophagus which was diagnosed after they opened him up. Well, he never left the hospital because the cancer grew like wild fire. I know I shouldn't have these morbid thoughts and since they performed a CT scan in the hospital of the lower portion of my body because one night there I had a fever of 105, pulse of 152 and blood pressure of 70/40, and nothing showed up on the CT scan. I was fine the next day and they never did figure out what caused this. My ostomy nurse who came to my house said they were the signs of septic shock... ...news to me!
I am bleeding again today. My husband is sooo disgusted with these gyn doctors. I just cannot wait another month. I am glad I'm going to my surgeon on Wed.
