Ok, so i have been trying to lose weight for a while and since may i have lost like 35-40 llbs and im down to almost where i want to be i lack about five pounds, ugh!
I lack about 25 from my ideal BMI weight, but i have been that and i looked like a skeleton. My boobs weigh 15lbs, lol.
Anyway, im still classified overweight but i think im pretty healthy, i have a good amount of muscle, i wear an 8, i do my insanity work out everyday,(which is really really tough, there are 60 pushups, 90 jumping jacks, 75 power squats and that's all in about 5 minutes or less, then ther is 35 more minutes of extreme cardio) i have missed one day since may and that was the day my niece was born and i was at the hospital until one am! anyway, i'm rambling, big surprise.
When i started the diet i cut out tons of stuff at first to get the weight loss jump started, i was eating mainly fruit and veggies and peanut butter for protein. After i had lost about 20lbs i started adding in things i really love, small amounts, because i didnt want to deny myself stuff competly that never works!
But the one thing i have not had in that entire time is any time of soft drink! i have had only water and a few alocholic beverages.
sooo here is my dilema, i am like literally dreaming of a cherry drink or a cherry coke or a pepsi (an i'm a southern girl drinkign a pepsi is a capital offense!) but i dont know if i should allow myself a tiny bit, like one a week or something, just so i can quit thinking about it so much. DH says i probably wont even like it. And he is probably right. I dont want diet drinks because they actually make you gain weight!
Anyway, opinions please!!!

Hi darling,
I cut out pop 2 years ago and try a sip once in a while because I too, crave it, but you know what? It taste's like chemicals. It's disgusting. So I say "go for it" everything in moderation right??

I would go for it. You will prolly not be used to the sugar and may not like it as much, but I wouldn't hold back on it at all. Just treat yourself to it once a week or something.

You will wonder why you were craving it!!! I don't drink soda anymore but when I get a craving...I'll have a sip or two...and get totally grossed out. It is just like smoking...when you are an ex-smoker you crave just 'one' but all it takes is one puff to know it's gross! (and I did that last weekend...it was SO YUKKY)

p.s. Congrats on the hard work!! I'm running and I think I do it just so I can eat more BUT I am crazy organic fruits/veggies eater shocked just ask my daughter!!

I have to give you credit.  I haven't worked out since 1984 tongue .  I walk a lot when I can.....is that considered a work out?  Actually, now I schlep more than I walk.

Size 8 is terrific!!!  I was in a 10 but since my operation am back in an 8.
