Would a fistula show up on a CT scan?  Are they hard to discover?

Depending on where the fistula is..... a small bowell follow through tends to show it first, but if its more of a rectal vaginal then an anoscope would be easier to see it.

I know this is a few weeks later but they confirmed my fistula with a CT.

Thanks ps.  The CT scan showed no fistula but when my surgeon looked up my anus (it is still intact even though my rectum and colon are removed), he discovered a hematoma which he drained smhair .  Kinda hurt but....then he put me on a regimen of antibiotics.  I had a severe allergic reaction to Cipro, terrible muscle pain, was then switched to Bactrim and Flagyl.  That was over with last week.  Now I have a yeast infection throughout my system and a UTI.  Back on Bactrim and pending the result of my liver function tests, will have to take a Diflucan tomorrow.  I feel like crap and to top it off....I think the abscess is festering back in the ole anus again.
I had this operation to feel better, not worse. sad
