Alright i changed my bag 2 days ago, i want to get atleast 4 days out of the bag b4 i change it again tho.

My out-put is really liquidity and some keeps getting under the bag, and it bugs me. next time i need to make the bag fit a little tighter but i have to be careful because some of the stitchs holding the stoma popped. "i went and saw my nurse and she said its fine but not to cut too close."

what foods will make my out-put more solid? "not super solid but you get what i mean"

update--

ok so im going to find out about convex wafers and Eakin Seals when i go into WRAMC tmrw. Until then i have to change my bag because its just at that point of falling apart.

Any idea what i should do since some skin is irritated? do i cover it up? do i cut the bag to go around it?

also for some reason when i poke my stoma lightly i somewhat can feel it. Could that be because i had some stuchers pulled and its just sensitive around the stoma making it feel as if i could feel it? lol i put things so oddly.

but if anyone could give tips or suggestions it would be muchly great-ful.

Bananas, peanut butter, and applesauce work for me. Bread and rice would probably be good too. Think of anything that helps you thicken up if you have diarrhea. Cheese helps if you can tolerate dairy. Anything that would constipate you.

Just what everyone recommended - to thicken things up, try the B.R.A.T. diet - Bananas, Rice, Applesauce, and Toast. Peanut butter, pasta, and potatoes help, too. And, you could always try Metamucil and Imodium.

As for the wafer, have you ever tried a convex wafer with an Eakin Seal? The combination of the two are great at preventing leaks when you have liquid output.

Hope that helps!
