Somewhere I read that you could use peroxide in your bag when you empty it to keep the smell away.  I know that I have tried it and it seems to have worked for me.

I know one morning when I woke up and emptied it I just about run everyone out of the house.  Sense I started using the peroxide I don't have a bad smell anymore.

I don't know what the stuff cost that you can get from some of the supply places but I bet it isn't as cheap as peroxide.  I bought an extra large bottle for $1.00.

I do - nothing stronger than 3% though. Works wonderfully! Doesn't just cover up odour, it eliminates it completely!

how much do you use? and are you putting it in the bag after you empty it or when you first put it on? I definitely need something to help with stinkiness!

I have no idea how much I use - just pour a tiny bit in the tail end when I've emptied. The 3% solution is usually found in the first aid section of your supermarket - it's usually used on scrapes and cuts. It's dilute enough to be able to be used as a mouth wash and is safe to be used in your bag. Do not use anything stronger than the 3% solution though.
