For some reason in the last week or two I have had pure liquid output. Is this something I should be concerned about? My nurse told me that I should take Imodium if that happens but I don't want to rely on it forever. I know it usually depends on what you eat, but I am eating everything I was eating before and it is still liquid.

Sometimes my output is pure liquid and other days kinda thick.  I believe it all depends on what you consume.  Make sure you drink plenty of water.  Gatorade made me sick and I drink Vitaminwater now.  I only had to take Immodium once since my operation and it did the trick.  Keep a journal of what you consume...liquid and solids for awhile and tell your doctor.

Are you feeling ill at all? Fever?

Have you added more sugar to your diet? Anything fried? I don't remember when your surgery was but if it wasn't that long ago your body could still be adjusting:(

Have you tried Metamucil? It bulks up while Imodium slows down. You may need both to get things under control. Don't go too long without contacting your doctor...constant high output can cause other issues.

sometimes that happens to me too, i was actually going to post about it! some mornings i will get up and for like two hours i just have nothing but liquids and tons of it! until it is eventually clear like water, doesnt seem to make me feel bad so i havent really worried about it.
for me it doesnt seem to have anything to do with food.
although i have noticed that for some reason, BBQ chicken makes my output liquid for days!

I'm the same, quite often my output is also liquid but like summer I haven't worried about it cause I feel ok. Pasta, mashed potatoes, bananas and foods like that always thicken mine up. Perhaps try that and see if it makes a difference.
Take care

Hi my ileo output used to be watery some of the time I would take immodium/ Loperomide but, felt it never actually worked. Like Andorable I would eat foods to help thicken it up ,such as a banana with smooth peanut butter on toast, marshmellows, jelly babies, mash.... etc Also you could try putting a gel sachet into your bag which will soak up the output and forms into a gel i found these great especially at night , hope this helps a bit Bev x

I been eating all kinds of food including pasta and it's still watery. The only thing that makes it thick is hamburgers and french fries (sorry for the visual).
Its actually easier to empty this way, but I am worried about getting dehydrated.
