Hi everyone ...

I use the coloplast xpro 2 piece click system. In the last 2 weeks I've had my daughter snap the bag off the wafer pretty easily and last night it came off while my wife and I were ... well ... you get the idea! It wasn't pretty!!

Anyone uses the 1 piece system or maybe the flex system? I wanted to get an idea of the pros and cons to both .. especially the flex ... the idea of not having a hard ring is a bit appealing.

Thanks!! :)

Hi ucfree!  I use the one piece Coloplast.  I believe it is called Sensura.  I love it, it sticks great, however, I do have some irritation under the wafer (I think it is called a wafer..lol), the part that sticks to the skin.  I have been using Nystop and Reliamed wipes, but I still have the irritation.  Someone posted (I believe it was David) about a medication which can be purchased at a medical supply store but I forget what it was called.

So, check this out .... what a day.

So I wear the xpro 2 piece Sensura system. Xpro is the extended wear wafer. I start looking for a xpro one pice system I can try and say that they only make them in transparent in the xpro. So I decide to try the regular wear one piece today which I had received as a sample from Coloplast. I change everything, head out he door and off to run some errands. Got home 4 hours later and I saw I was leaking. Everything was all over the place. I guess the standard wear doesn't agree with me, the xpro isn't bad, I just wish the whole click thing didn't come off as easily.

Christine, hope you are doing better, been following your progress as well.

I wear the two-piece Coloplast Assura Extended Wear Wafer #2833 with cloth covered pouch #13986. It's a click and lock system, but in the 4+ years that I've been using it, it has never been knocked off, and I've bumped it quite a few times where I thought it should have!

Maybe it will work better than the xpro, and since it's Extended Wear, it sticks really well for 7 days on me with no leaks.

I use the flex, and LOVE it. It is very secure, I have never had it un-attach. It is so much smoother under my clothes. Highly recommend you try it.

Pibbin ..... I tried the flex for the first time and holy moly what a difference!! The ring seems just too hard and it protrudes my clothing sometimes. With the flex I feel ... well .... flexible! :) It's almost flat on my belly too.
I worry sometimes that it's a bit too good :)
Thanks for the suggestions and have you got a new batch of pouches recently? How do you like those new filters? They're softer and work a whole helluva lot better no?
