I am scheduled for a reversal of my colostomy next Friday and am quite apprehensive about it.  My first surgery, for a perforated colon, was difficult to recover from: fluid on the lungs, nausea, etc.
I would appreciate feedback on this type of surgery.

Reversal of an ostomy is usually easier to recover from then what we go through the first time!

Do you know how much and what part of your colon was affected?

You were dealing with more complicated issues when recovering from surgery for a perforated should be just fine this time around:)
