I am so sorry Sandee and am looking at losing my dad very soon as he has been fighting pancreatic cancer now for almost a year they just recently stopped all of his treatment as there is nothing they can do anymore its spread to his lungs and his liver so its just a matter of time and he is my hero too. I don't know how I will make it through without my wonderful dad. So I am very sad for you too as I know the kind of pain you are feeling as do many people. Thinking of you

Oh hun, I know what your going through I lost my dad last October to cancer.  He was my main man, and its hard every day to actually think that he will not be walking through the door or sitting in his chair at moms...after he passed, and he passed at home with me taking care of him.
So since that day its hard to walk in the house and not see him in his fav. chair, I could not look at it for months.  Then my mom said to sit in his chair, so I did for just a sec and I did not feel right sitting in it, so have not since.
You have to take each day as it comes and I am so sorry for your loss, so I do well.

I'm so sorry for your loss. cry (((BIG HUG))) I lost my dad 4 years ago and still miss him a lot. The pain and sadness does get better with time, so just let yourself grieve. The main thing that helped me get through was my belief that he's in heaven and is happy there and that I will see him again someday.
Hang in there,
Dx'd Crohn's in '99 at age 28. Proctocolectomy and permanent ileostomy in '06.

Dear sorry for your loss.  I understand what you are going through.  I lost my dad April 1st, 1995 and my mom March 7, 1996.  They were married for 58 yrs when dad passed.  They are always in my heart.  The pain will diminish with time.  Thank the Lord for all the good years you had with him and remember all the wonderful times you spent together.

I want to thank all who have expressed your condolences in the loss of my Pops--
I am trying to be "normal" ( if there is such anymore )  I try to carry on from day to day but it's so hard.
My Pops was an awesome man and he was proud of me--proud that I have had a good attitude with my health,
re/ the Crohns and ostomy surgeries.. He told me I was a brave and courageous woman..
Well Pops--YOU have taught me to make the BEST ou tof a bad situation and to ALWAYS look at the POSITIVE!!!
I am BLESSED beyond measure to have had you for 58 years--Yep--This 58 year old woman was a "Daddys Girl"!!
Life will never be the same YET>>> I will do what Pops would want me to do---stop crying and START singing!!
Another Blessing from him--Pops gave me the "Melody" and the song in my heart!!
