i saw my surgeon and i get to go home tomorrow yeah He is going to teach me how to put a tube in my stoma if i have any bloating issues I will still be going very slow with my eating..Oh 1 more thing If I learned anything from having this surgery remember just because you feel good after abdomenial surgery dosen't mean that your intestines are awake so be careful... nono God Bless Trixiemom

Dx'd Crohn's in '99 at age 28. Proctocolectomy and permanent ileostomy in '06.
Disease-free and medicine-free since surgery and very thankful to be healthy again.

Surgery: November 9, 2010 - subtotal colectomy with anastomosis

I am home and feel better taking it slow took my shower and it felt sooo good Trixiemom
